The Port Moody Public Library offers Kobo eReaders for loan. These eReaders can be used to download and read Library eBooks.

If you are going on a holiday and would like to carry fewer books, or if you simply want to try out reading eBooks, this is the service for you. Kobo eReaders are lightweight and the text size is adjustable, so it is easy to read comfortably.

You can choose to borrow and download Library eBooks on your own, or to have eBooks selected and pre-loaded for you by our librarians based on your reading preferences.

  • One Kobo eReader with a case
  • Charging cable
  • Wall plug
  • Instructions

Borrowing guidelines

  • One eReader kit per card
  • Loan period: 6 weeks
  • No renewals
  • Late fees: $0.25 per day

How to borrow an eReader kit

Request an eReader kit by filling out the online form or getting a paper form at the Library.

Please note: Due to high demand, there may be a waitlist to borrow an eReader kit. Staff will contact you once one is available.

How to return an eReader kit

Please return the eReader kit to the Port Moody Public Library only, directly to the Accounts Desk. 

Do not return the eReader kit in the book drop.
