Tutoring for Kids

Program details:

Ages 8-12

A tutoring program where children work with teen volunteers for homework help, school preparation, and support in all school subjects. Bring in assignments from any subject or some will be provided. Educational activities will also be provided. Numbers permitting, each child will be matched with one volunteer to work together for 45 minutes and then play educational board games together for the last 15 minutes.

 

The noise level is medium to loud during the program; children are welcome to take breaks when needed. For any additional details, please email libraryprograms@portmoody.ca.
